The Insta360 X4’s protective metal frame wraps around the camera body and helps protect the lenses as well. Two side cold shoe mounts allow you to attach microphones or other compatible accessories; the flip-out bottom mount features a two-pin mount or a 1/4″ thread, and the side 1/4″ threads allow for horizontal mounting. It is designed exclusively for the Insta360 X4 and cannot be used simultaneously with the X4 Mic Wind Muff.

PROTECTION AND SECURE MOUNTING

The enclosed metal frame protects both the camera body and its lenses. Practical mounting points expand your shooting options without having to change the camera.

QUICK AND SECURE CLOSURE

An improved latch makes it easy to attach and securely lock the frame. When inserting the camera, align the bottom mounting point, close the frame, and secure the latch.

SIDE MOUNTING SOCKETS FOR ACCESSORIES

Two side cold shoe mounts are used to attach a microphone or other accessories. The frame also offers mounting points for horizontal shots; accessories shown in the image are sold separately.

VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL

On the bottom, use the flip-out two-pin mount or the 1/4″ thread. The 1/4″ side threads allow you to mount the camera horizontally according to your intended shot.
