Joby Wavo PRO is a professional on-camera shotgun microphone with digital sound processing. The ANR algorithm removes bumps from walking and camera movement in real time, LEDs show audio and battery levels, and the whole microphone is controlled from the Wavo PRO app. It has a second microphone input, a −10 dB safety track and a battery that lasts 60 hours.

A microphone that cleans up the sound for you

Wavo PRO combines an on-camera shotgun microphone with a digital processor. It shapes the sound in real time and shows you how it sounds, even when you are in front of the camera.

Active Noise Reduction (ANR)

The built-in ANR algorithm removes self-generated structural noise from walking, handling or camera movement in real time. Clean audio goes straight into the camera, even when shooting on the go.

Sound under control in the app

The digital sound processor is controlled via Bluetooth from the Wavo PRO app for iOS and Android: change the gain, set the high-pass filter between 0 and 300 Hz and monitor audio levels.

A backup for unexpectedly loud moments

Wavo PRO also records a safety track 10 dB lower straight into the camera. If the sound suddenly gets loud, you still have a clean, undistorted recording.

Interview-ready

Plug a lavalier into the second microphone input and record an interview with a single camera.

They show gain, battery level, Bluetooth connection and audio level.

Switches on with the camera

The automatic power mode turns the microphone on and off with the camera and saves battery.

60-hour battery

The built-in battery lasts up to 60 hours, 50 hours with ANR on, and charges via USB-C.

Second microphone input

The base has an EXT input for a second microphone, such as the Wavo Lav PRO lavalier. Gain for the camera output and the second microphone input is set independently, up to +20 dB.

Connecting to a computer

Besides the 3.5 mm TRS output, the microphone has a USB-C port for charging and connecting to a computer. A USB-C to USB-A cable is included.
