The K&F Concept set of 11 metal step-down rings covers threads from 82 to 26 mm. The rings let you fit smaller filters and other accessories to a lens with a larger thread, so the filters you already own work on other lenses too. They suit manual and autofocus lenses, digital and film alike.

Smaller filters on a larger lens

A step-down ring reduces the thread diameter of the lens, so you can fit a filter with a smaller diameter. On wide-angle lenses a smaller filter may intrude into the frame and cause vignetting – check the corners of the image.

Easy to install

The ring screws into the filter thread of the lens and the filter or other accessory screws into the ring. The precise thread holds firmly, without wobbling and without the risk of cross-threading. The frame is finely polished with a careful surface finish.

How to read the ring markings

The first number is always the lens thread diameter, the second the thread diameter of the filter or accessory. If the first number is smaller, it is a step-up ring; if it is larger, it is a step-down ring. The filter thread diameter is printed inside the lens cap or on the lens barrel.
