The K&F Concept parabolic softbox with a 120 cm diameter and 70 cm depth creates a large area of soft light with a longer throw and distinctive catchlights. Its sixteen ribs open without tools, and the kit includes two diffusers, a honeycomb grid and a carrying bag. It fits lights with a Bowens mount.

Compared with a shallow softbox, the deep parabolic shape gives more directional light that reaches further and is easier to control – soft and even with both diffusers, more contrasty without them. The large diameter covers a full figure or a group, so it suits portraits, fashion, products and video.

The honeycomb grid narrows the spread, limits spill on the background and adds depth to the image.

A large source of soft light

With a 120 cm diameter it lights a full-length portrait or a small group with a single light. It sits on a stand with a COB light or a flash head with a Bowens mount.

Fast to mount on the light

The Bowens mount slides onto the light and the ribs push out into a locked position. Taking it down is just as quick, and the softbox folds to a length of 92.5 cm.
