The orange K&F Concept aluminium quick release plate carries either a camera or a smartphone. Its locking system switches between the two modes without taking the plate off. The phone holder extends to 59–90 mm, a 1/4″ screw attaches the camera and the cold shoe on top takes a microphone or a small light.

The plate is CNC machined from aluminium alloy and anodised. Rubberised surfaces hold the camera firmly without scratching it. It suits DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and phones, so the same kit lets you shoot with a camera and a phone alike.

Phone, microphone and light in one place

With the jaws pulled out, the plate becomes a phone holder with a 59 to 90 mm span. Add a microphone or a small LED light to the cold shoe on top and your vlogging rig is ready.

Camera on a 1/4″ screw

With the jaws retracted it works as a regular quick release plate: the camera is fixed with the 1/4″ screw and the rubberised surface keeps it from twisting.
