The K&F Concept octagonal softbox with a 55 cm diameter opens and folds in seconds: pull up the ribs and click the mounting ring into place. The silver interior boosts light output without shifting colours, and two diffusers plus a honeycomb grid shape the light. It fits lights with a Bowens mount.

The octagonal face gives a round catchlight in the eyes and soft light with a smooth fall-off into shadow – for portraits, weddings, video and live streaming. Compared with a square softbox it leaves fewer distracting shadow edges on products.

This size suits portraits and product photography – a good choice for beginners and small studios.

Quick setup without assembling ribs

The ribs stay attached to the mounting ring, the softbox opens like an umbrella and locks with a click. To fold it, press the ring inward and the ribs release – it all takes a few seconds.

Soft light in the studio and on set

Eight flexible aluminium ribs keep their shape even after years of use. Folded, the softbox is 43.5 cm long and fits in the included carrying bag.
