Nano-K — Black Mist filter, softens the highlights and takes off digital sharpness.

Black Mist scatters the light around bright areas — street lamps take on a gentle glow, blown highlights soften and skin loses its digital hardness. Contrast in the deep shadows drops a little, so the picture looks more filmic straight out of the camera. Unlike an effect added in post, the diffusion follows the actual light in the scene.

The 67 mm filter screws into the clip and the clip goes onto the back of the phone — no tools, no model to match. The same filter can also go straight onto a lens with a 67 mm thread.

An eighth is the milder of the two usual strengths: a gentle halo forms around the lights and skin softens while the image keeps its sharpness — on a phone, which draws rather hard, this is the strength that can stay on all the time.
