A Series — Black Mist filter 52 mm, softens the highlights and takes off digital sharpness. It suits portraits, night streets and video wherever the picture should look softer and less digital without being reworked on the computer afterwards.

Anti-reflective layers

The glass carries 24 anti-reflective layers and reflects only 0.4 % of the light, so no ghosting or veiling appears against the light.

Black Mist scatters the light around bright areas — street lamps take on a gentle glow, blown highlights soften and skin loses its digital hardness. Contrast in the deep shadows drops a little, so the picture looks more filmic straight out of the camera. Unlike an effect added in post, the diffusion follows the actual light in the scene.
