The K&F Concept C/Y-EOS adapter lets you mount Contax/Yashica-mount (C/Y) lenses on Canon EF/EF-S-mount cameras. It has no electronic contacts: you focus manually, set the aperture on the lens, and the lens focuses all the way to infinity. The body made of brass and aluminium holds the lens firmly, and a red dot makes mounting and removal easy.

Contax/Yashica lenses on Canon EOS cameras

With the C/Y-EOS adapter you can attach Contax/Yashica-mount (C/Y) lenses to Canon EF/EF-S-mount cameras and keep using them on a modern body. The adapter is precision-made, so the lens sits firmly and focuses all the way to infinity.

Solid metal construction

The adapter body is made of brass and aluminium; it is durable and fits the lens and camera precisely, so the lens is held without play. A red dot makes mounting and removal easy.

Manual focus and aperture

You focus with the ring on the lens while the camera works in aperture priority or manual mode. The aperture is set with the aperture ring on the lens.

Camera settings

Before first use, enable the option in the camera menu that allows the shutter to be released without a lens attached (Release w/o Lens). The camera does not recognise an adapter without contacts and would not release the shutter without this setting.

Good to know

With telephoto and super-telephoto lenses the infinity position may shift slightly, so always check focus at infinity in the viewfinder or on the screen.

The adapter is designed for Canon EF/EF-S-mount cameras, for example Canon EOS 1D / 1Ds (Mark II, III, IV, X, C), 5D, 5D Mark II, 5D Mark III, 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 60D, 60Da, Rebel XT, XTi, XS.
