The K&F Concept power cable runs current from a D-Tap connector into a Sony NP-FZ100 dummy battery. Your Sony camera then runs from a V-mount battery or any other D-Tap source and does not go flat during long shoots. The input takes 11–18 V at 3 A, the output delivers 7.2–8.4 V and 2 A. The coiled cable stretches from 1 to 2.5 m.

The dummy goes into the battery compartment in place of the battery, with the cable routed out. The dummy body is PC+ABS and the cable has a flame-retardant PVC jacket. The electronics guard against short circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, overcharge and over-discharge.

Shooting without battery swaps

The coiled cable reaches up to 2.5 m, so the power source can hang on a tripod, a rig or a belt and power the camera all day.

A V-mount battery is all you need

Common V-mount batteries, such as K&F Concept, have a D-Tap output. One battery then powers the camera and other accessories.
