The K&F Concept EF-E IV AF electronic adapter mounts Canon EF and EF-S lenses on cameras with the Sony E mount and keeps their automation: gold-plated contacts pass on autofocus with continuous tracking, aperture control from the body, lens image stabilisation and EXIF data. The firmware is updated via USB and a detachable foot with a 1/4"-20 thread makes tripod mounting easy.

Autofocus and aperture from the body

Gold-plated contacts keep the lens and the Sony E body connected: autofocus quickly finds the direction and target and can track a moving subject, the aperture is set with the camera dial and lens EXIF data are written to the images.

Stabilisation and tripod foot

The adapter supports optical image stabilisation of lenses (IS), so images stay sharp when moving, in poor light and at night. The detachable foot with a 1/4"-20 thread attaches directly to a tripod head or quick-release plate and supports a heavy lens at its centre of gravity.

Firmware updates

New firmware is loaded into the adapter via the USB port, fixing bugs and adding support for more lenses and bodies.

Two focus modes

The C/P switch selects the autofocus method: in C mode the adapter focuses by contrast detection (CDAF), in P mode by phase detection (PDAF). Autofocus works when taking photos; when shooting video, focus manually.
