The K&F Concept gimbal head with damping carries a camera with a telephoto lens of up to 20 kg. The aluminium alloy head weighs 1.13 kg, pans 360° on a base with a scale and tilts the lens through 180°. Tilt resistance is set with a damping knob, and the platform slides to balance the centre of gravity. The bottom thread is 3/8"; a 70 × 38 mm plate with a 1/4" screw and a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter are included.

For telephoto lenses

The lens hangs in the axis of rotation, so even a heavy telephoto lens stays where you point it and tracking a moving subject is effortless. Ideal for bird, wildlife and sports photography.

Adjustable damping

The main knob sets the tilt damping, so a large lens moves smoothly and does not drop. Separate knobs lock the arm height, the quick-release plate, the panoramic base and the horizontal position.

Balancing the centre of gravity

The platform with the quick-release plate slides up and down over 70 mm along a scale. The setting is easy to repeat for different camera and lens combinations.

Panoramic base

The base rotates 360° and has a scale for shooting panoramas in equal steps. The locking knob of the quick-release plate has a bubble level.
