The K&F Concept MS-104 horizontal centre column moves the camera 40.9 cm off the tripod axis – for overhead shots, flat lays, macro and low angles. It rotates 360° and tilts 180°, and the 25 mm D-profile aluminium tube does not twist and carries 5 kg. It weighs 365 g and has 3/8" threads with a 1/4" adapter.

The column screws onto the tripod in place of the head or centre column and carries the camera on a horizontal arm. The tripod legs stay out of the frame when shooting food, products or documents or working at a table. A scale on the tube helps you return the arm to the same position, and a counterweight can hang from the opposite end.

360° rotation and 180° tilt

The arm rotates all the way round on its base and tilts from horizontal to vertical. One knob locks the position and a safety catch prevents the tube from slipping out.

D profile against twisting

A round tube tends to twist under the weight of a camera; a D-profile tube does not. The 25 mm arm carries 5 kg – even a camera with a fast lens and a microphone.

Compatibility

3/8" thread top and bottom; with the included 1/4" adapter it fits most tripods, monopods, ball heads and camera rigs.
