Nano-B — star filter 52 mm, turns point lights into rays. It shines on night cities, festive lights, candles or sun glints on water, turning every single point of light into a striking, sparkling effect right in the frame.

Stars from points of light

A star filter has a fine grid etched into the glass that turns every point light into a star with rays. It comes into its own in the night-time city, on Christmas lights, candles or reflections on water. The number and angle of the rays are set by turning the front ring.

The rays are coloured here as well: the glass splits the light into a rainbow spectrum, so a spotlight or a street lamp grows a star with rainbow arms instead of white ones. The effect shows in the finder and on the screen, so it can be built while shooting.
