Stars from points of light

A star filter has a fine grid etched into the glass that turns every point light into a star with rays. It comes into its own in the night-time city, on Christmas lights, candles or reflections on water. The number and angle of the rays are set by turning the front ring.

The number of points is set by turning the front ring: in one position point lights become four-pointed stars, in the other eight-pointed. Four points keep the scene readable and suit candles, glasses or festive lights, while eight turn lamps and spotlights at a concert or party into bold stars.
