A power block on a Sony NP-F mount with 10.500 mAh (7.4 V, 77.77 Wh) for cameras, LED lights, field monitors and motorised sliders. An OLED touch display shows the charge in per cent. The USB-C port works as input and output and supports PD3.0, QC3.0, QC2.0, FCP, AFC and PPS fast charging, so an ordinary phone charger or power bank will top it up.

10.500 mAh at 7.4 V works out at 77.77 Wh. How long that lasts depends on the load: a 14 W monitor runs 5.8 hours, a camera in 120p video mode (10 W) 6.7 hours and a 15 W LED panel 4.5 hours.

OLED touch display and USB-C

An OLED touch screen shows the charge — a tap on the button is enough. The USB-C port works both ways and speaks the usual fast-charge protocols PD3.0, QC3.0, QC2.0, FCP, AFC and PPS, so the block charges from whatever is at hand.

The NP-F mount matches Sony’s own batteries, so the block fits cameras, LED lights, monitors and motorised sliders. The electronics watch overheating, over-voltage, over-discharge, over-current, over-charge and short circuit.
