The K&F Concept OS2-90 flat octagonal softbox has a 90 cm diameter but only 38 cm depth, so it fits even a smaller studio. It opens in one move without tools, comes with two diffusers, a honeycomb grid and a carrying bag, and fits lights with a Bowens mount.

The large front gives soft, even light with a round catchlight, and the highly reflective lining keeps colour temperature stable and colours accurate. It suits portraits, interviews, live streaming, product shots and studio video.

Compatible lights include the RC 120B, RC 120D, RC 220B, RC 220D, RC 220C; the light is sold separately.

One move and it is ready

Pull the latch and the softbox opens; to fold it, pinch the clips and the ribs release. The sturdy, flexible support poles resist deformation even with frequent folding.

Slim when folded

Folded, the softbox measures 72 × 26 × 5 cm and travels in the included bag with a strap. The softbox alone weighs 756 g.

Diffusers and grid

The two diffusers remove hot spots and give smooth transitions into shadow – the inner diffuser alone is slightly harder, both together the softest. The honeycomb grid limits spill onto the background and increases contrast, so the softbox works for both soft and more dramatic lighting.
