Two K&F Concept X-PRO protective frames for 100 × 150 × 2 mm square filters. The frame wraps the edge of the glass, so the filter is handled and slid into the holder by the frame and the glass is never touched. A framed filter survives a 1.5 m drop onto flat ground. For the K&F Concept Nano X-PRO series only; repeated assembly is not recommended.

Glass protection

The frame reinforces the edge of the glass and protects the filter from damage in handling. A framed filter survives a drop from 1.5 m onto flat ground; it cannot protect against a fall onto a sharp raised edge. Because the filter is held by the frame, no fingerprints are left on the glass.

Assembly

Each frame consists of four parts: two side pieces, a top piece and a bottom piece. The parts are fitted around the glass and joined; they come apart easily. Repeated assembly and disassembly is not recommended, though.

Compatibility

The frames are intended only for 100 × 150 × 2 mm square filters of the K&F Concept Nano X-PRO series (for example GND graduated filters) and the X-PRO holder.
