A Reverse GND8 graduated filter for the K&F Concept X-PRO holder that darkens the sky by 3 stops and leaves the foreground as it is, so a bright sky and darker land fit into one frame. The 100 × 150 mm format lets you slide the transition exactly onto the horizon. AGC glass with 36 coating layers sits in a protective frame.

Reverse graduation for sunsets

A reverse graduated filter is darkest in the middle, at the horizon line, and gets lighter towards the top edge. It suits scenes where the brightest band of sky sits just above the horizon — sunrise and sunset over the sea or open plains. The 3-stop reduction balances the sky with the foreground.

100 × 150 mm format

The filter is taller than it is wide, so it can be slid up and down in the holder until the transition sits exactly on the horizon. For lenses with threads up to 82 mm via the X-PRO holder.

Protective frame

The glass sits in a protective frame by which the filter is handled and slid into the holder, so no fingerprints reach the glass surface. The frame also protects the glass in a fall: dropped from 1.5 m onto flat ground the filter does not break (it cannot protect against a fall onto a sharp edge). The frame design won the iF Design Award and Red Dot 2021.

Glass and coating

The Japanese AGC optical glass is polished on both sides and carries 36 layers of nano coating with 0.15% reflectance. The coating suppresses flare and ghosting, repels water and grease and resists scratches.

The filter is made exclusively for the K&F Concept X-PRO square filter holder; in its frame it does not fit holders of other brands.
