A square ND1000 neutral density filter for the K&F Concept X-PRO holder that cuts 10 stops of light without a colour cast. A waterfall or the sea turns into a smooth veil in a long exposure, even in full daylight. AGC glass with 36 coating layers sits in a protective frame, and a PU leather pouch is included.

Less light, longer exposures

The ND1000 filter cuts 10 stops of light and leaves colours unchanged. Exposures stretch from fractions of a second to tens of seconds, so moving water, clouds and people dissolve in the image.

Protective frame

The glass sits in a protective frame by which the filter is handled and slid into the holder, so no fingerprints reach the glass surface. The frame also protects the glass in a fall: dropped from 1.5 m onto flat ground the filter does not break (it cannot protect against a fall onto a sharp edge). The frame design won the iF Design Award and Red Dot 2021.

Glass and coating

The Japanese AGC optical glass is polished on both sides and carries 36 layers of nano coating with 0.15% reflectance. The coating suppresses flare and ghosting, repels water and grease and resists scratches.

For the X-PRO system

The filter is made exclusively for the K&F Concept X-PRO square filter holder; in its frame it does not fit holders of other brands.

Pouch

The filter is stored in a PU leather pouch with a pull tab that slides it out without touching the glass.
