A 99 Wh V-mount power block with two D-Tap ports. It charges and delivers power over USB-C at 100 W, so it will run a light, a monitor or a laptop.

• 99 Wh capacity — under the 100 Wh line, so allowed in hand luggage

A 99 Wh V-mount power block. The 100 Wh line is no accident — below it the battery may travel in hand luggage, so the block clears airport security without an argument.

The USB-C port handles 100 W both ways: it charges the block itself and will also run a laptop or a tablet. Beside it sit a 24 W USB-A, a DC 12 V output and two D-Tap ports that can feed two devices at once — a studio light and a monitor, say. Across all ports together 100 W is available.

A BMS looks after the cells, watching temperature, over-voltage, over-discharge, over-current, over-charge and short circuit, and sharing the power between the ports. An indicator on the body shows the state, and there is an emergency night light.
