Libec Q30B is a two-stage aluminium tripod leg set with a 75 mm bowl and the Quick Deploy system. Sliding the ring along the centre column opens the spreader and releases the upper leg locks at once, so the tripod goes up in a single move. Payload 45 kg at a weight of 2,9 kg. A mid-level spreader, FP-2B rubber feet and a carrying handle are included.

A ring instead of locks

Moving the Deploy Ring up or down opens or closes the spreader and unlocks the upper leg sections at the same time. Height is set in one move, without walking around the tripod.

Heavy camera, light legs

The legs support up to 45 kg, enough for a fully rigged cinema or broadcast camera, yet weigh only 2.9 kg. Long days of carrying and one-person shoots become far less tiring.

Accessory threads

The tripod top offers 1/4" and 3/8" threads for a monitor, light or articulating arm. Accessories sit firmly right on the tripod.

Proven in the desert

The maker field-tested the tripods for a year in the heat of the Arizona desert. A dust-proof lock mechanism keeps sand from affecting reliability, even in extreme conditions.

Height to suit

Pre-extend the lower screw locks and keep deploying the upper sections in one move.

Handle included

The carrying handle adjusts in 90° steps and can be removed when not needed.

A hung weight adds stability in strong wind or on uneven ground.

Safe folding

One move and it stands. The Deploy ring in the middle of the tripod drives the spreader and the upper leg locks together. Move it up or down and the tripod opens or folds — no walking around it, no working through the locks one by one. On a set measured in seconds that is the difference between setting up and holding everyone up.

Payload 45 kg at 2,9 kg. The legs carry 45 kg, so a fully rigged ENG or cinema camera, and weigh only 2,9 kg. That combination saves your back over a full day of carrying and still keeps the rig from flexing or wobbling under the camera.

Height to suit the situation. The Quick Deploy upper section covers ordinary shooting heights on its own. When you need to go higher, pre-extend the lower screw locks to the length you want — the fast deployment of the upper section is unaffected. The range is 72 to 169,5 cm.

Dust, heat and wind. The lock mechanism is built dust-proof so sand cannot get into it; the manufacturer field-tested the set for a year in the Arizona desert. There is a weight hook underneath for added stability in wind, and the legs are shaped so fingers cannot be pinched when folding.

Ready out of the box. A mid-level spreader and FP-2B rubber feet are included, so nothing else is needed. The carrying handle is standard too — it adjusts in 90° steps and can be removed. The base carries 1/4" and 3/8" threads for a monitor or a light. The 75 mm bowl accepts third-party fluid heads; from the Libec range we recommend the NH40.
