The Libec QD-10PD is a studio system of the QH1 head (150 mm) and the P1000 pedestal with a 40 kg payload, 39 kg weight and a height of 91.5 to 173 cm. Continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance comes with a meter, and drag is set in seven steps. The pedestal has a balanced upper column, a gas-spring mid column and casters with track lock.

The Libec QD-10PD combines the QH1 head with continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance and the P1000 pedestal with a perfectly balanced upper column and a gas-spring-assisted mid column. The system carries 40 kg, weighs 39 kg and adjusts from 91.5 to 173 cm.

Perfect Balance with meter

Continuous Perfect Balance keeps the camera balanced at any tilt angle. The foldaway knob adjusts the spring smoothly from minimum to maximum, and a meter always shows the setting.

Center tilt lock

For the safety of the camera, the head can be physically locked in the center tilt position. The arrow-shaped knob and lock symbols are visible even from a distance.

P1000 pedestal

The perfectly balanced upper column has a drag knob, and a gas spring assists the mid column. The casters have a track lock mechanism and the steering ring is detachable.

According to Libec, the QD series redefines the balance between price, payload and performance in its class. The camera plate attaches and detaches with one touch for speedy setup.

7-step drag

A multilayered metal drag structure for pan and tilt.

Tilt +90° to −70°

At maximum spring strength the tilt is limited to ±40°.

±75 mm sliding plate

The camera attaches with two 3/8" screws; two spares are included.

Illuminated bubble level

The head works from −20 to +60 °C.

Center tilt lock. The red arrow-shaped knob locks the head in the center tilt position.

Meter and smooth counterbalance. The foldaway knob sets the counterbalance smoothly and the meter shows it; an adapter adds a 150 mm ball to the flat base.

P1000 pedestal. Flat base, easy-read air pressure gauge, detachable steering ring, balanced upper column with drag knob, gas-spring mid column and casters with track lock.
