The Libec RSP-850M tripod version with mid-level spreader and rubber feet includes the following components: RHP85 head, longer Sliding Plate L, T103RB legs, PH-8B pan bar, BR-6B mid-level spreader, FP-6B rubber feet and RC-80 case. The Libec RSP-850M is a professional RS PLUS tripod system for shoulder cameras up to 25 kg, built for studio, OB and news work. It combines the RHP85 head with continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance, the heavy-duty aluminum T103RB tripod with the BR-6B mid-level spreader and FP-6B large rubber feet and the wheeled RC-80 carrying case, plus a long sliding plate for the head. The system weighs 12.3 kg and adjusts from 97.5 to 191.5 cm.

Balanced at any angle

Continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance keeps the camera balanced at any tilt angle across a 9–20 kg range (C.G. 125 mm). The counterbalance knob turns with constant force throughout, so adjustment is quick.

One-touch camera plate

The camera plate attaches and detaches with a single touch, so the system is ready to shoot in no time. It slides ±55 mm and holds the camera with two 3/8" screws.

A case on wheels

The RC-80 case has two wheels and a side handle grip, so it is easy to pull along on foot. Soft and hard protectors on all sides absorb impacts, and its rigid design lets it travel as check-in luggage.

Smooth in freezing cold and heat

The sealed torque unit gives smooth starts and stops in pan and tilt, so every move looks exactly as intended. Special silicone grease keeps the movement consistent from −40 to +60 °C.

7-step drag

The seven-step drag switch covers a remarkably wide torque range for any situation.

Tilt +90° to −70°

An illuminated LED bubble level helps you level the head quickly, even in the dark.

T103RB heavy-duty legs

Dual tubes keep the tripod rigid even fully extended, and the legs carry 90 kg.

BR-6B mid-level spreader

The mid-level spreader keeps the ground clear, while the FP-6B large rubber feet hold the tripod on the floor.

Counterbalance knob. Set the inner spring tension precisely to the weight of the camera and accessories. The balance stabilizer prevents even the slightest wobble in the image when you stop a tilt.

Drag control. Pan and tilt drag are set separately, so you can match the head to the lens and the shot.

Upper leg locks. Height is set with locks at the top of the legs, and the dual tubes keep the tripod stable even fully extended.

RHP85 counterbalance chart. The vertical axis shows the height of the camera’s center of gravity above the plate, the horizontal axis the total weight of camera and accessories. The area between the curves is the range the head can balance; a shoulder camera typically sits around 125 mm. At maximum spring strength the tilt is limited to ±40°.
