Lilliput Q31-8K is a professional production monitor that handles 8K signals and delivers a detailed picture with vivid colours. It is designed for demanding creative workflows and serves photographers, camera operators and content creators.

Q31-8K is a flagship production monitor for broadcast and studio environments. It has a 31.5″ display with a native 3840 × 2160 resolution for critical monitoring, 350 cd/m² brightness, contrast of up to 1300:1 and a viewing angle of up to 178° horizontally and vertically, so colours and contrast stay consistent from different positions.

It builds an 8K signal from four 4K 60p sources over quad-link 12G-SDI according to the ST 2082-12 protocol. It also accepts HDMI 2.0 and 12G SFP+, so it connects to a wide range of professional sources. Four 12G-SDI outputs and one HDMI 2.0 output link further displays, and the SFP+ slot allows an optical fibre connection with an optional module.

It supports HDR ST 2084 and Hybrid Log Gamma, covers 94% of the DCI-P3 colour space and supports Rec.709. Custom 3D LUTs in .cube format load via the USB port on the front panel, and preset log profiles SLog2, SLog3, CLog, NLog, ArriLog and JLog match common camera systems.

Available tools include focus peaking, check field, image freeze, pixel to pixel, false color, exposure, histogram, timecode, markers and colour space analysis. Four assignable buttons on the front panel give quick access to functions and a dial adjusts sharpness, saturation, tint and volume; image flip, picture-in-picture and underscan are also available.

Remote control via LAN and RS422 (RJ45 connectors) allows control from a computer application and multi-monitor setups. Colours can be calibrated with optional calibration software.

The monitor has a rugged metal chassis, a 3.5 mm headphone output and quad split mode with customisable coloured borders for showing four inputs at once. It is a versatile solution for broadcast, studio and field production.
