The ultra-compact Lumix S series zoom lens with constant F2.8 aperture is the ideal choice for 8K photo & video. Designed for L-Mount bodies. Availability is expected for June 2025.

The lens provides a versatile range of focal lengths from wide-angle 24mm to standard 60mm and macro shooting from 7cm. A new dual phase linear motor and optical position sensor enable fast and accurate autofocusing. In addition, a silent drive minimizes focusing noise during video recording.

The Lumix S 24-60mm/F2.8 is equipped with a programmable Fn button and a focus button that can be assigned to different functions during shooting (e.g. Hybrid Zoom). The lens also supports manual focusing during zooming. Advanced optical design and optimized internal lens construction effectively suppress focus breathing.

Hybrid Zoom
The combination of optical zoom and crop zoom extends the telephoto end by simply rotating the zoom ring. You can extend the zoom range up to 187mm for both stills and video. The lens also maintains a stable center of gravity when zooming, making it ideal for use with stabilizers.

Focus ring
When the focus mode is set to AF, the focus ring can be used as a control ring. The direction of rotation of the ring can be set to the left or right.
In MF mode, it is possible to switch between linear and non-linear control. The rotation direction of the ring can be selected.
