The Manfrotto SYNEXADAPT Sony Adapter is a precision-machined aluminum converter that instantly transforms any standard cold-shoe or 1/4″-20 metal mount into a genuine Sony Multi-Interface Shoe (MIS), letting you securely attach Sony XLR-K3M, ECM-B1M, UWP microphones, GP-VR100 monitors, HVL lights or any MIS accessory to gimbals, cages, top handles, Magic Arms, Super Clamps or third-party rigs without losing hot-shoe data or locking functionality.

Designed specifically for Sony’s proprietary Multi-Interface Shoe (MIS), the Manfrotto SYNEXADAPT is the official solution for hybrid and cinema shooters who run Sony audio/video accessories on non-Sony rigs. The bottom features both a male cold-shoe foot and a 1/4″-20 female thread, so it locks into virtually any cage, handle, or clamp, while the top is a full-spec MIS hot shoe with all 21 electrical contacts and Sony’s mechanical lock/release button. At only 14 g and fully metal construction, it adds almost no weight or bulk yet gives rock-solid, wiggle-free mounting and full digital communication between MIS accessories and the camera.
