The Meike 55 mm f/1,8 Pro is an autofocus 55 mm prime for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Its f/1.8 aperture leaves room to work in poor light and to separate the subject from the background.

Optics and rendering

The optical design uses 11 elements in 8 groups, with a 9-blade diaphragm that keeps out-of-focus highlights round. The aperture runs from f/1.8 to f/16, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.55 m.

Handling and build

Focus is handled by a quiet STM stepping motor, suiting both stills and video. Firmware can be updated over the USB-C port on the lens itself. The filter thread is 58 mm and it weighs about 365 g.
