The MK-MP2 is a condenser shotgun microphone for cameras with a 3.5 mm input. Its supercardioid pattern picks up sound from the front and rejects noise from the sides and rear, so speech stays intelligible in noisier surroundings.
Controls and power
Switchable +10 dB gain helps with quiet sources, and the 100 Hz low-cut filter removes air-conditioning or traffic rumble. The shock-mounted body damps vibration carried through the camera. A single AAA battery powers it.
