The Noxon Mod Slider – Animator Kit is a motorized slider for stop motion and animation with four axes of movement: travelling, panning, tilting and follow focus. The kit includes DMC Control for Dragonframe with real-time movement and blur motion, presets for Dragonframe and the wireless controller. Stepper motors hold position to within a fraction of a millimetre.
The animator kit with Dragonframe
The kit is the result of years of Noxon working with stop-motion creators. Besides all three modules it includes an adjustment plate for balancing the camera on the tilting module and a tripod anchor, so the slider can sit on two tripods or overhead.
Sub-millimetre accuracy, silent running
Stepper motors and the control electronics hold position to within a fraction of a millimetre, so every stop-motion frame follows exactly on the previous one. Smooth acceleration and braking plus quiet operation let you use the slider even during interviews.

Swap the rail for a longer one in a few minutes without tools.
4 axes of movement
Travelling, panning, tilting and follow focus on a single cable to the control unit.

Follow focus in motion
The follow focus module programs focus together with travelling and rotation. It needs 15 mm rods and a camera baseplate.
Tilting module
A second camera rotation axis with a stainless steel frame and a high-accuracy stepper motor, with 40 speeds.
DMC Control for Dragonframe
Connects the slider to Dragonframe over USB-C using the DMC protocol – with real-time movement and blur motion.
Legs and carriage
Integrated adjustable legs, several anchor points and a stepper motor for travelling. Place the slider on a table, mount it on a tripod or hang it.

The Mod Slider – Animator Kit is a modular motion control system for professional animators and filmmakers. Precise motor control delivers smooth, repeatable travelling, panning, tilting and focus moves, the foundation of stop-motion and animation work.
The light yet durable aluminium and stainless steel construction carries 5 kg horizontally and 3 kg vertically. DMC Control for Dragonframe gives animators the precision needed for frame-by-frame adjustments; the speed range of 1.6–133 mm/s covers very slow animation sequences and dynamic shots. 12 V power comes from the supplied power supply or a V-Mount battery.
