The Noxon Mod Slider – Starter Kit is a motorized slider with an 80 cm rail and a panning module for smooth travelling with camera rotation. It is run by a wireless controller with automatic, manual, time-lapse and stop-motion modes, travels at 1.6–133 mm/s and carries 5 kg horizontally. The tilting and follow focus modules can be added at any time.
Travelling with panning from day one
The entry kit of the modular Mod Slider system: motorized travelling, a panning module and a wireless controller with power. The system grows with your work – add tilting, follow focus, a longer rail or Dragonframe later.
Sub-millimetre accuracy, silent running
Stepper motors and the control electronics hold position to within a fraction of a millimetre, so every stop-motion frame follows exactly on the previous one. Smooth acceleration and braking plus quiet operation let you use the slider even during interviews.
80 or 150 cm
Swap the rail for a longer one in a few minutes without tools.
4 axes of movement
Travelling, panning, tilting and follow focus on a single cable to the control unit.

Payload horizontally and hanging under the rail, 3 kg vertically, more with a counterweight.

Legs and carriage
Integrated adjustable legs, several anchor points and a stepper motor for travelling. Place the slider on a table, mount it on a tripod or hang it.
Module on the carriage
The panning module mounts on the slider carriage and connects to the control unit with a single cable.
Panning module
Adds horizontal camera rotation beyond 360° with forty speeds; the camera can sit above or below the module.
Wireless controller
Programs automatic moves in real time and also runs other Noxon systems. When ordering, state the firmware version or serial number of your slider.

About the product
The Starter Kit gives camera operators and filmmakers the basic equipment for controlled camera movement. The modular aluminium and stainless steel construction is rigid and durable, and the kit is easy to carry on location.
The slider carries 5 kg horizontally and 3 kg vertically, which suits most cameras and rigs. A travel speed of 1.6–133 mm/s covers very slow time-lapses as well as dynamic shots. The tilting and follow focus modules are not part of the Starter Kit, but the slider supports them.
