The Noxon Mod Slider 80 cm is the motorized slider on its own with an 80 cm rail, without modules. It travels at 1.6–133 mm/s, carries 5 kg horizontally or hanging under the rail and 3 kg vertically, works in automatic, manual, time-lapse and stop-motion modes and fires the camera shutter. Panning, tilting and follow focus modules are sold separately.
The foundation of the Mod Slider system
For those who start with travelling only or already own the modules. Swap the 80 cm rail for a 150 cm one without tools, mount the slider on a tripod, set it on a table or hang it, and it fires the camera via a 2.5 mm minijack.
Sub-millimetre accuracy, silent running
Stepper motors and the control electronics hold position to within a fraction of a millimetre, so every stop-motion frame follows exactly on the previous one. Smooth acceleration and braking plus quiet operation let you use the slider even during interviews.

About the product
The Noxon Mod Slider is a high-performance camera slider system designed for precision and versatility in video production, stop-motion animation and time-lapse photography. The modular system can be expanded with panning, tilting and follow focus modules and gives filmmakers full control over camera movement.
The aluminium and stainless steel construction ensures rigidity and durability even in demanding shooting conditions. 12 V power from a power supply or a V-Mount battery suits both studio and outdoor work, and a payload of 5 kg horizontally and 3 kg vertically covers a wide range of camera rigs. This offer covers the Mod Slider only, without further modules; the modules are available separately or in the Starter, Animator and Ultimate kits. The rail can be swapped for the 150 cm extra rail.
