Diffusion filter, scatters the light gently and softens the image.

A diffusion filter scatters the light passing through and takes the hard edges off the picture without blurring it. Highlights around lamps and reflections bleed into a gentle glow, skin softens and the image picks up the feel of older lenses. The effect happens in the glass itself, so it responds to the real light in the scene.

Of the diffusion glasses, 1/2 is the stronger one — the image gets a clear veil, not merely a hint. It belongs where the dreamlike look is deliberate: music videos, image sequences, dream scenes. The glass sits fully in a CNC-machined aluminium surround and is laser-marked on the edge and the face, so it can be told apart in a matte box even in the dark.
