The Saramonic SR-SMC1 is a clip mount for shotgun and other cylindrical microphones from 19 to 25 mm in diameter. Its cold-shoe foot fits a camera or camcorder, and the 1/4"-20, 3/8" and 5/8" threads put it on a boom pole, tripod, stand or cage. It also serves as a replacement mount for the Saramonic SR-TM1 and SR-TM7 microphones.

Clip for cylindrical microphones

The spring clip wraps around the body of a shotgun or other cylindrical microphone 19 to 25 mm in diameter and holds it without tools. The microphone simply snaps in and comes out just as quickly.

Adjustable angle

The screw joint under the clip sets the angle of the microphone so it points at the sound source. The cold-shoe foot at the bottom puts the mount on a camera or camcorder.

Three threads for every mounting

Besides the cold-shoe foot, the mount offers 1/4"-20, 3/8" and 5/8" threads, so it attaches to a boom pole, tripod, microphone stand or camera cage.

Replacement mount for the SR-TM1 and SR-TM7

Saramonic supplies the same mount with the SR-TM1 and SR-TM7 shotgun microphones. If the original gets lost or damaged, the SR-SMC1 replaces it – and works just as well with other microphones 19 to 25 mm in diameter.
