The Saramonic TC-NEO Kit is a set of three TC-NEO wireless timecode generators in a charging case for multi-camera shooting. Each unit keeps drift below one frame in 48 hours and runs for 22 hours, or up to 48 hours with the case. The box also includes SR-TRS-C03 (5-pin LEMO) and SR-TRS-C06 (BNC) cables, three coloured silicone covers and cold shoe adapters for every unit.

Charging case for three units

The charging case with a 6000 mAh battery holds and charges three TC-NEO units; with all three it extends runtime to up to 48 hours. The case itself charges over USB-C in 5 hours (5 V, 2 A).

Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz and cable

The Saramonic System app syncs up to 48 units at once over Bluetooth at a distance of about 40 m. Units can also sync with each other on 2.4 GHz, or by cable (jam sync) from any external timecode source.

Built-in microphone for reference audio

With a 3.5 mm cable connected, timecode goes to the left track and the built-in omnidirectional microphone records ambient sound to the right. A clap, a slate or a flash of light then serves as a reference in the edit.

Three cover colours in the box

The silicone covers protect the units from knocks and their colour tells the cameras apart: the kit includes orange, blue and yellow. Covers come in eight colours in total.

±0.5 ppm accuracy

The temperature-compensated TCXO crystal oscillator with ±0.5 ppm accuracy keeps drift below one frame in 48 hours across −30 to +85 °C.

Digital clock mode

While charging in the case, hold the side button for 1.5 seconds and all three displays turn into synced digital clocks.

23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 29.97DF, 30, 47.95, 48, 50, 59.94, 59.94DF and 60 fps.

Master and slave

TC-NEO works as the master timecode source, as a slave unit, or in slave-lock mode. The start timecode can be set manually.

Works with the K9 system

TC-NEO is the master timecode source for Saramonic K9 transmitters and other TC-NEO units in the app. The K9 RX receiver takes over the synced timecode automatically.

Three cameras, three generators

A three-camera setup is standard on set, and every camera and recorder should keep its own timecode generator for the whole shoot. The kit therefore contains three TC-NEO units in a charging case, which also charges them.

LTC and Audio TC to SMPTE-12M

TC-NEO generates linear timecode (LTC) and Audio TC to the SMPTE-12M standard, so it works with most professional cameras and audio recorders. It connects with a 3.5 mm cable and syncs without any special setup. Editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro then lines up picture and sound by timecode.

Charging in the case

The units drop into the case from above and keep charging on the move. The case weighs 265 g, measures 182.7 × 65 × 41.5 mm and its battery recharges three TC-NEO units more than 1.4 times.

OLED display and rotary dial

The crisp 1.1″ OLED display shows sync status, battery and frame rate at a glance. The essential settings are made with a pyramid-textured rotary dial.

Sync without a phone

If the phone runs flat or Bluetooth drops, TC-NEO units pass timecode directly between each other on 2.4 GHz. Every camera and recorder should keep its own timecode generator for the whole shoot; a single manual jam in the morning is not enough for long, fragmented shooting days.

Timecode cables

TC-NEO connects to cameras, recorders and wireless receivers with a 3.5 mm connector with a locking nut. SR-TRS-C01 links devices with a 3.5 mm connector, SR-TRS-C03, C04 and C05 ARRI cameras and devices with a 5-pin LEMO, SR-TRS-C06 a BNC connector, SR-TRS-C07 and C08 RED cameras, SR-TRS-C09 the Canon EOS R5 C and SR-TRS-C10 Sony cameras with the Multi Interface.
