The Sennheiser MK 8 is a professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone with dual 1-inch diaphragms, five switchable polar patterns and a 3-pin XLR output. For advanced home recording and project studios, it provides a pad, switchable low-cut/roll-off filtering and 48 V phantom power.

One studio microphone, five polar patterns

The MK 8 is a large-diaphragm true-condenser microphone with two 1-inch diaphragms. It switches between omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-of-eight to suit solo voice, instruments and stereo techniques.

Control the source while recording

A three-position 0/−10/−20 dB pad helps with loud sources, while the switchable 100 Hz roll-off and 60 Hz low-cut address proximity effect and low-frequency rumble. The microphone needs 48 V phantom power and connects via 3-pin XLR.
