The Sennheiser MKE 2 (Black XLR) is a subminiature, pre-polarized condenser lavalier microphone with an omnidirectional pickup pattern and a matte black finish. With a capsule diameter of 4.8 mm and a weight of 17 g, it can be discreetly worn for live sound, television and theatre. Its durable Umbrella Diaphragm™ protects the capsule from sweat and moisture; the approximately 1.6 m cable with an integrated three-pin XLR adapter requires 12–48 V phantom power.
