Digital output module for Sennheiser MKH 8000 microphones. The module screws into place in place of the analog XLR module and converts the signal directly at the microphone head in accordance with the AES42 standard to minimize signal loss and interference in the analog signal path.

MZD 8000

The 24-bit A/D converter supports sampling rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz. The integrated DSP allows remote adjustment of attenuation and low-pass filter settings via AES42.

Compatibility

Designed for the MKH 8000 series of modular microphones; replaces their XLR output module.
