The Tilta HDA-T18-SAA Shock Absorbing Arm is the core component of the Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System – a professional-grade, hydraulic dampened stabilizer that delivers ultra-smooth, gimbal-like footage from moving vehicles at any speed and on any terrain, supporting full cinema rigs up to 20 kg with effortless low-mode, high-mode and offset configurations.

Built for high-end action, automotive commercials and feature-film chase sequences, the Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Shock Absorbing Arm (HDA-T18-SAA) is the most advanced vehicle-mounted stabilization system in its class. Using automotive-grade hydraulic damping cylinders filled with temperature-stable oil, it completely isolates the camera from road shocks, footsteps, engine vibration and wind buffeting – producing footage so stable it often eliminates the need for post-stabilization. The arm supports payloads up to 20 kg (44 lb) and offers full 360° boom range, drop-down low-mode, and lateral offset capability. Quick-release Mitchell mount, multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads and compatibility with Speed Rail, suction cups or host arms make rigging fast and universal across cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and off-road vehicles.
