The SmallRig 5195 cage is designed for the Insta360 X5 and protects the body on all sides from impacts and scratches without affecting 360° panorama stitching. The camera slides in from the top and is secured with a thumbscrew, while non-slip silicone padding inside holds it snugly without abrasion. The supports of the folding top are positioned so the cage can also be used with premium lens guards fitted, and side cutouts allow the battery to be swapped without removing the cage; all interfaces remain freely accessible.

The cage offers two cold shoe mounts, a foldable 2-prong mount and two anti-deflection 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the side and bottom – for a microphone, light, tripod or selfie stick (such as SmallRig 5403) and for quick switching between portrait and landscape orientation. A lanyard hole for a safety rope (sold separately) helps secure the camera so the focus can stay on the action. The package includes six pieces of wind noise reduction foam for cleaner audio and a silicone lens cover that protects the lenses while the camera is stored in the cage. The aluminium alloy cage weighs 79 g.
