CPL and variable ND filter for Osmo Action
Variable ND filter, changes the amount of light steplessly as you turn it.
Polariser and ND in one
Turning it takes off three to five stops and removes glare from water, snow or wet rock. Two separate filters are not needed.
3–5 stops
The variable ND is tuned by turning the front ring.
1/50 shutter
Hold it while filming as the light changes, with no filter swap.
Clip-on frame
It clicks onto the lens and comes off just as quickly.
Action 4 and 5 Pro
Made to fit these cameras and will not fit any other.
A variable ND replaces a whole set of fixed grey filters — turning the front ring changes how much light gets through, steplessly. While filming the shutter stays at 1/50 s even as the sun goes behind a cloud and comes back, with no need to stop the take or swap a filter.
The filter is made to fit DJI Osmo Action 4 and DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro; it will not fit another device.
One piece of glass holds both the polariser and the variable ND: turning it takes away three to five stops while the reflection off water, snow or wet rock disappears. Two separate pieces of glass in a row are no longer needed, which tells on an action camera where filters are swapped on the move.
The frame clips on: the filter snaps onto the lens and comes off just as fast.
