The SmallRig Handheld Shock Absorber Arm (Standard Version) is a compact stabilization system designed for action cameras and lightweight rigs. Featuring a spring-loaded hydraulic damping structure with an adjustable handle, it reduces vertical vibrations during walking, running, or handheld movement. Supporting up to 1.3 lb, it improves motion smoothness for devices like DJI Osmo Pocket, GoPro, and Insta360 cameras, making it ideal for vloggers and action shooters.

The SmallRig Handheld Shock Absorber Arm is engineered to enhance handheld footage stability by introducing a dedicated Z-axis damping system. Designed for action cameras and compact gimbals, it significantly reduces shake caused by walking, running, or dynamic movement.

At the core of the system is a spring-loaded hydraulic damping mechanism, which absorbs vertical motion and smooths out footage in real time. This allows creators to achieve cinematic-style stabilization even without a full gimbal setup.
