A Manfrotto 501PL-type quick-release plate from SmallRig for SmallRig cages. The open centre leaves the camera screw reachable, so the body comes off the cage and onto a tripod or a gimbal without delay. Rubber pads protect the cage.

The plate drops into a standard Manfrotto base and works with thirty SmallRig cages — the 2203 for the BMPCC 4K, the 2087 for the Sony A7 III or the 2243 for the Nikon Z6/Z7, among others. It weighs 36 g.

Note: The plate is currently compatible with the SmallRig cages as shown in the picture.
