The SmallRig 3852 silicone gear slips straight onto a lens focus ring and lets a follow focus drive it by friction, with no rigid gear ring to fit. It matches the standard M0.8-43T pitch of the 3010 series follow focus units.

The SmallRig 3852 silicone gear offers a simple and efficient way to pull focus. Working with the M0.8-43T gear, it drives the lens directly by friction, with no rigid gear ring needed.

Note
The force transferred by friction is limited, so a stiff focus ring may make the gear slip.
To avoid slippage, make sure the silicone gear sits tightly on the lens ring, especially on large-damping zoom lenses.
The silicone gear is for SLR and mirrorless lenses only. Remove it before using a cinema lens.
Compatible with the standard M0.8-43T gear only.
