The SmallRig MD3990 top plate covers the XLR handle unit of the Sony FX30 and FX3. Built-in pads protect it across the whole surface, while 1/4"-20 threads and a cold shoe carry a microphone or LED light. Fits the MD3490 rig.
The SmallRig Top Plate MD3990 protects the XLR handle unit of the Sony FX30 and FX3. It sits exactly on the top of the unit and built-in pads cover it across the whole surface. It can be fitted to the top of the handle with an adapter, or with a 3/8"-16 screw onto the Sony FX3 XLR Handle Extension Rig MD3490.
