The SmallRig CVG2678 vlogging cage is a form-fitting aluminium shell for the GoPro HERO8 Black. It adds two cold shoes, several 1/4"-20 holes, a 52 mm filter thread and a GoPro mic adapter holder, leaving the USB-C port and the quick-release battery panel free.

The SmallRig CVG2678 vlogging cage is a form-fitting aluminium shell for the GoPro HERO8 Black.
USB-C and battery access
The side panel is quick-release, and you can charge the camera over USB-C without opening the panel.
2× cold shoe
Two cold shoe mounts and several 1/4"-20 holes for a microphone or small LED light.
52 mm filters
The ring on the front of the cage takes filters with a 52 mm thread.
Folding fingers
On the bottom, they let you mount the camera on GoPro mounts and surfaces.
Mic holder
Attaches to the right side of the cage with two included 1/4"-20 screws.
The cage is equipped with two cold sockets and several 1/4"-20 holes for mounting accessories such as a microphone, small LED light, SmallRig Cold Shoe Mount 1593 or Cold Shoe Mount 1960. The GoPro Microphone Adapter Mount attaches to the right side of the cage with two included 1/4"-20 screws. The hinged fingers on the bottom allow you to mount the camera to a variety of GoPro mounts and surfaces; while the 1/4"-20 mount in the middle allows you to mount the camera to a 1/4"-20 tripod. The side panel is quick-release for switching batteries, and you can charge the camera via the USB-C port without opening the panel. There is a filter ring on the front of the cage that accepts 52mm threaded filters.
