The SmallRig CVG2678 vlogging cage is a form-fitting aluminium shell for the GoPro HERO8 Black. It adds two cold shoes, several 1/4"-20 holes, a 52 mm filter thread and a GoPro mic adapter holder, leaving the USB-C port and the quick-release battery panel free.

The cage is equipped with two cold sockets and several 1/4"-20 holes for mounting accessories such as a microphone, small LED light, SmallRig Cold Shoe Mount 1593 or Cold Shoe Mount 1960. The GoPro Microphone Adapter Mount attaches to the right side of the cage with two included 1/4"-20 screws. The hinged fingers on the bottom allow you to mount the camera to a variety of GoPro mounts and surfaces; while the 1/4"-20 mount in the middle allows you to mount the camera to a 1/4"-20 tripod. The side panel is quick-release for switching batteries, and you can charge the camera via the USB-C port without opening the panel. There is a filter ring on the front of the cage that accepts 52mm threaded filters.

1.Please take off the camera's original battery door before using the cage
2.You can also use the original battery door, but need to remove the cage's side panal first for battery switches and charging
