The full-frame 16mm Simera-C for M-mount combines a 106° field of view, a T1.9 maximum aperture, and a weight of approximately 467 g. It is designed for manual operation on a gimbal, drone, or handheld.
Wide-angle and close-up detail
The original detailed description remains unchanged: 15 elements in 11 groups are designed to deliver high sharpness in the center, controlled chromatic aberration, and near-zero distortion. A minimum focus distance of 0.16 m allows for striking wide-angle details with deep perspective for film, architecture, and environmental storytelling.
The T1.9 aperture helps when working in low light and allows you to isolate the subject even in wide compositions.
Mechanics for a Film Rig
The lens features M0.8-threaded focus and aperture rings for precise manual control and follow focus. The original specifications regarding minimal focus breathing, glare and ghosting suppression, and suitability for lightweight rigs, gimbals, and drones have been retained.
