The Tilta 100g Counterweight is a 100 g stainless steel counterweight with a 1/4"-20 thread on both sides — female on one, male on the other — so counterweights can be stacked. It adds weight when the camera setup cannot be balanced on the gimbal any other way: via the Quick Release Baseplate Counterweight Adapter, the Side Arm Counterweight Clamp or any other counterweight adapter with a 1/4"-20 thread on the DJI RS 2, RSC 2 and other gimbals.

The Tilta 100g Counterweight (TGA-CW-100) is a 100 g stainless steel counterweight with a 1/4"-20 thread — a stackable piece for fine-balancing the camera on a DJI RS gimbal.

A hundred grams where they are missing

The counterweight is used with the Quick Release Baseplate Counterweight Adapter or the Side Arm Counterweight Clamp when the camera needs extra weight while balancing on the gimbal — for instance with a light lens that does not bring the centre of gravity where the gimbal needs it. A balanced setup puts less strain on the gimbal motors and performs better.

Stackable, stainless steel

The cylindrical counterweight has a female 1/4"-20 thread on one side and a male one on the other, so several pieces stack together and weight is added a hundred grams at a time. It is made of stainless steel in a natural metal finish with 100 g marked on it. It fits the DJI RS 2, RSC 2 and any other gimbal with a 1/4"-20 counterweight adapter.

Tilta for DJI RS gimbals

Tilta builds its own system around the DJI RS 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro and RS 5 gimbals: the Basic Ring Grip Plus and Advanced Ring Grip ring grips, wireless remote control handles, the Power Supply Base Plate, V-Mount and Gold Mount battery plates, counterweights, the top camera support bracket and security brackets. The parts build on each other and share 1/4"-20 threads and NATO interfaces, so they combine to suit the shoot. This part is one of them.
