The Tilta TCB-BMPC-DCM12 is a power cable for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K. One end is a right-angle micro DC plug for the 12 V output of a Tilta battery side handle, the other a 2-pin plug for the camera's power input. The Pocket then runs from the battery in the handle on the cage instead of its internal battery. Length 40.96 cm.

The Tilta TCB-BMPC-DCM12 links a Tilta battery side handle to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K. The handle has a 12 V micro DC output, the camera a power input on the side of the body — the cable between them is short, right-angled and follows the shape of the cage.

Micro DC from the handle, 2-pin into the camera

The right-angle micro DC plug goes into the 12 V output of a Tilta battery side handle for the BMPCC 4K/6K — the cable then runs down along the handle rather than sticking out at a right angle, so it does not get in the way of your hand. The other end is a locking 2-pin plug for the power input of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K, which latches once inserted and does not pull out while working. The cable is straight, with a rubber jacket and connectors of aluminium alloy and ABS plastic.

Battery in the handle instead of a battery in the camera

Tilta's side handles for the BMPCC carry a battery and have a 12 V output for the camera; this cable is made for exactly that and fits several versions of the battery side handles for the BMPCC 4K/6K. The 40.96 cm length reaches from the output on the handle to the power input on the side of the body, with some spare for routing around the cage. The Pocket runs from the battery in the handle and the internal battery stays as a backup — when the handle is disconnected, the camera switches to the internal battery without interruption.
