The Tilta TC-FHB2-B 150 mm bowl extends the fluid head mount of the Boulder Camera Cart (TC-FHB-B) to large fluid heads with a 150 mm ball. It goes onto the mount in place of the 75/100 mm adapter, the head is tightened in it with its tie-down as on a tripod, and through the mount and the Steadicam Dock it stands firm on the cart even with a heavy camera. Bowl only, without the mount.

The Tilta 150mm Fluid Head Bowl Mount is a separate 150 mm bowl for the fluid head mount of the Boulder Camera Cart. Anyone who already has the mount in the 75/100 mm version and moves to a head with a 150 mm ball buys just the bowl — the mount and the Steadicam Dock stay the same.

Onto the fluid head mount on the cart

The bowl belongs on the Tilta fluid head mount for the Boulder (TC-FHB-B), which is clamped onto the cart's Steadicam Dock (TC-SD-B). The mount has a removable threaded adapter for 75 and 100 mm heads; this bowl goes on in its place and the mount then takes heads with a 150 mm ball. The height adjustment on the dock and the swivel of the mount, which lets you reach the tie-down under the head, are retained.

150 mm bowl for large heads

The 150 mm bowl is meant for cinema-class fluid heads that do not fit 75 and 100 mm bowls. The head is tightened in it with its tie-down just as on a tripod and, with the weight of the cart and the width of its base, stands firm even with a heavy camera. The bowl is aluminum alloy in a black finish that matches the mount and the rest of the Boulder accessories. The box contains the bowl only; the mount is the TC-FHB-B, and the complete mount with the 150 mm bowl is the TC-FHK-B.

The Tilta Boulder cart

The Boulder Camera Cart is an aluminum camera cart with a 400 kg payload that assembles without tools and folds into a case with its own wheels after the shoot. The posts are 40mm speed rails, the crossbars follow the NATO and Manfrotto standards and the trays carry 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads — that is where every accessory of the Boulder family mounts, including this one.
